WHO IS EARTHA MAE?
Exciting News: Who is Eartha Mae? Returns
This play set to music began as a 10 minute workshopping piece in Washington, D.C. in 2015.
It was selected to be part of the D.C. Black Theater Fest in 2016, and then played to audiences at the TaDa and United Solo (winning Best Cabaret) Festivals in New York City.
In 2018, Bridge Rep of Cambridge produced this fabulous show and was nominated for a Norton Award.
Now - eight years later -thanks to The Hanover Theatre (Worcester, MA) and Urbanite Theatre (Sarasota, FL) the show is back!
In the immortal words of Ms Kitt herself, "You don't stop Eartha."
This time around the goal is to shop the show to international stages and festivals. In order to do that, a professional videographer and editor is needed.
I am inviting friends, family, colleagues, donors, lovers of the arts, and philanthropists to help me cover the videographer's $7500 cost to film and edit Who is Eartha Mae?
If you are able to, any contribution is welcome and greatly appreciated.
Donations can be made through the Donate button below.
This creative journey has been an experience like no other in my 20 years as a professional actor. And I am so humbled and grateful to be able to bring it to audiences once more.
